Jon Powell is a successful entrepreneur, real estate developer and innovator. He is a Partner of SeventySix Capital that invests in startup sports betting, gaming, and sports tech companies. DraftKings and FuboTV, and COSM acquired 3 of SeventySix Capital’s portfolio companies. Powell is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kravco Company.
Over the past several decades, Powell has also been involved with many startup enterprises, including the Philadelphia Stars of the United States Football League, technology ventures, and several communications projects.
Jon and his Powell Family Foundation have recently partnered with MainLineTV.org to produce two Emmy nominated and Telly Award-winning documentaries: “Kensington in Crisis” and “Life without Parole: The Story of George Martorano.” “Kensington in Crisis” brings attention to the opioid crisis in Philadelphia and the the impact of drugs on society and the need for more treatment programs and ways to address mental health needs. “Life without Parole” focuses attention on prison reform and our justice system by highlighting the injustices and sequence of events that kept Philadelphia resident George Martorano in federal prison for over three decades.
Powell remains steadfast and committed to socially responsible issues using documentaries and charitable organizations as an impetus for change.
Powell is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a Master’s degree from the University of Oregon. He is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds active real estate licenses in Pennsylvania and New York.
Powell is an avid endurance athlete, having completed multiple Ultraman competitions and the Furnace Creek 508, known as the toughest 48 hours in sport.

Kravco was originally founded in the late 1940s and quickly established itself as a leading private real estate developer and property management company. Becoming one of the largest retail shopping center organization in the United States and the largest in the Philadelphia area. Following more than half a century of proven success, including a successful strategic partnership with Simon Property Group from 2003 to 2011, Arthur Powell, an original Kravco founder, and his son, Jon Powell launched Kravco Company LLC. Based in Radnor, Pennsylvania, the new Kravco executive and management team is drawn from the experienced ranks of the Kravco family. Collectively, Kravco’s professionals have managed, leased, developed and redeveloped over 30 million square feet of commercial real estate, primarily in the retail sector. Kravco continues to build on its excellent reputation among local, regional, and national tenants, and among its investment partners.

Jon helps guide the direction of his Family Foundation and has strong ties with the local chapter of The ALS Association. He is also an active member of the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia, the King of Prussia Youth Sports Foundation, Pennsylvania SPCA, and the Greg Olsen Foundation. Through his family foundation, Jon has established an annual Powell Family Scholarship for students enrolled at the Atlantic Cape Community College. A passionate skier, Jon also contributes to the Crested Butte Snow Sports Foundation focused on building futures for youth through snow sports. His current philanthropic missions also include benefits to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), The Aspen Institute, Tara Miller Melanoma Foundation, Independent Mission Schools, and JBJ Soul Foundation for Habitat for Humanity.
Ultra-Athletics
Furnace Creek 508, Ironman and Ultraman
Jon is more than an enthusiastic athlete; he is an avid skier and has successfully completed the Furnace Creek 508, multiple Ironman competitions and the Ultraman World Championship. In 2006, he persevered through a 6.2 mile swim, a 261.4 mile bike ride with total vertical climbs of 4,000 feet, and a 52.4 mile run to best the Ultraman course laid out on the beaches, back roads, and ocean waters of Hawaii. His 2008 Furnace Creek race also known as “the toughest 48 hours in sport” is a 508 mile bicycle race. The unusual endurance event boasts an elevation gain of 35,000 feet, crosses ten mountain passes and stretches from Santa Clarita, across the Majave Desert, through Death Valley to Twenty Nine Palms. Jon rode Furnace Creek for the benefit of the ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, making the event a difficult but gratifying experience. Through years of competitions, travel, and philanthropy, Jon has also honed his photography skills and hosts his own website.
