ShotTracker Installed at New MADE x HMBL Development Center in Brooklyn
MADE Hoops and HMBL Development open 15,000 s/f training and development center
Brooklyn, NY MADE Hoops and HMBL Development opened the MADE x HMBL Gym, a new 15,000 s/f training and development center at 24 Carlton Ave. The facility will serve as a central community hub for MADE Hoops and HMBL Development, providing a permanent facility for local youth.
The gym will offer elite basketball skill development, as well as foundational support programs for athletes of all sports, including strength and conditioning training. The MADE x HMBL Gym will also offer community programming for athletes and families across New York City. Programming is set to include:
• Year-round, daily basketball training and development led by professional coaches for elementary through high school athletes, with camps during school holiday breaks and the summer season
• Strength and plyometric training for athletes in all sports, emphasizing speed, core strength, and agility development
• Adult programming, including leagues, day passes, court rentals, and strength and conditioning training
• Multi-sport and community use, including volleyball events and tournaments, community clinics, youth mentorship programs, and nonprofit events
The facility is outfitted with leading technology and equipment, with Wilson serving as the official basketball of MADE Hoops and the exclusive game ball used across all programming — including within the MADE x HMBL Gym. The gym is installed with ShotTracker’s sensor-based basketball analytics system and Spiideo-powered camera systems, which feed into ShotTracker technology. The MADE x HMBL Gym is the first youth development training facility to include ShotTracker technology, which is used by top college and professional programs nationwide and gives athletes access to real-time performance data to measure and accelerate their development.

The Brooklyn center represents an approximately $3 million private investment into the city’s youth sports infrastructure and is the first in a planned series of player development facilities from HMBL Development and MADE Hoops in key markets across the country.
“This facility gives young athletes in this city a place to develop the right way, with real coaching, real training, and people in their corner who have been here their whole lives,” said Justin Bright, founder of HMBL Development. “We built HMBL from the ground up right in this neighborhood, and now we have a home that matches the level of what we are trying to do.”
The facility will also serve as a programming home for the MADE For All Foundation, the nonprofit arm of MADE Hoops. Throughout the year, the gym will open its doors to the broader community, utilizing the space for educational initiatives, community events, and expanded access to programming for youth across New York City. MADE For All will also provide financial assistance to athletes, ensuring everyone in the community has the opportunity to train at the MADE x HMBL Gym.
