Alejandro Bedoya

Alejandro Bedoya is the Chairman of the Athlete Venture Group for SeventySix Capital.

Bedoya's professional journey began after a successful collegiate career at Boston College, where he was named an All-American. He then embarked on an international career, playing for Örebro SK in Sweden, Rangers FC in Scotland, Helsingborgs IF in Sweden, and FC Nantes in France's Ligue 1. In 2016, he joined the Philadelphia Union, where he has been instrumental in the team's success, including leading them to their first Supporters' Shield title in 2020.

Internationally, Bedoya earned 66 caps for the United States Men's National Team (USMNT), participating in significant tournaments such as the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup, where the U.S. secured the championship. He is renowned for his leadership and advocacy, notably using his platform to address social issues, as seen during a match in 2019 when he called for action against gun violence.
